Description
Pigmentation spots are the third most pressing beauty concern for women, after wrinkles and sagging skin. Mostly visible on the forehead, cheeks, hands or décolleté, they appear over the years, caused in particular by UV rays, age or hormones.
Thanks to a unique combination of 3 acids (Glycolic acid, Phytic acid and Mandelic Acid) and the patented Lumilight peptide, LIGHT RENEW GEL regulates skin pigmentation, lightens spots and evens out the skin tone. This depigmenting gel thus acts on all spots, at all the different stages of their development.
| LIGHT RENEW GEL acts on all spots:
• Superficial spots are present on the stratum corneum, the upper part of the epidermis. They are the hyperpigmentation of acne scars or budding age spots. They can be reduced thanks to the glycolic acid and mandelic acid contained in LIGHT RENEW GEL: these two fruit acids gradually eliminate the pigmented cells.
• Set-in spots are present right down to the dermis. They include melasma (also called pregnancy mask), solar lentigo (sun spots) and senile lentigo (age spots). To reduce them, the production of melanin must be blocked. This is the role of the phytic acid and the patented Lumilight peptide in LIGHT RENEW GEL: they each act at different functional stages of pigmentation for comprehensive action.
With LIGHT RENEW GEL, your spots are lightened and your complexion is more even.
How to use
After cleansing thoroughly with SOFT CLEANSER, apply to the area to be treated every other evening when beginning the treatment. Then morning and/or evening if well tolerated, for 3 months.
Make sure you use upwards strokes from the bottom to the top of your face to stimulate blood flow and tone facial muscles.
For enhanced results, use DAYLIGHT C20 as day cream.

The gel texture is ideal for oily skin and as a make-up base. However, if necessary, you can supplement it with a moisturizer.
| Can I use LIGHT RENEW GEL during the summer?
Products containing Glycolic Acid are quite suitable for daily use if your sun exposure is “normal and reasonable” for an active woman in the city for example. We recommend that you simply complement your program with a sun protection product such as SUNLIGHT SCREEN 50+.
On the other hand, these products should not be used just before strong exposure to the sun (beach, mountain, prolonged outdoor activities, etc.).
Precautions
LIGHT RENEW GEL contains Glycolic Acid. When the skin is not used to fruit acids, you may feel some tingling due to the exfoliation and the penetration of the active ingredients.
In case of discomfort (irritation, itching, redness, etc.), use less frequently. Not suitable for sensitive, damaged, irritated or problem skin.

Ingredients
The unique combination of advanced active ingredients such as Glycolic Acid, Phytic Acid, Mandelic Acid and Lumilight Peptide enables LIGHT RENEW GEL to act at all stages of spot development.
Glycolic Acid (10%) : EXFOLIATING & STIMULATING
It is a recognized keratolytic agent: it eliminates dead cells from the stratum corneum to facilitate its regeneration. It thus makes it possible to even out the complexion of skin prone to pigmentation issues.
Phytic Acid (4%) : LIGHTENING
It is an antioxidant active ingredient which, combined with Glycolic Acid, helps to reduce pigmentation and even out the complexion. It also inhibits tyrosinase (responsible for skin pigmentation), and is therefore recommended to treat hyperpigmentation problems.
Mandelic Acid (2%) : LIGHTENING & STIMULATING
It is an AHA derived from bitter almonds. Its molecules, twice as large as those of other fruit acids, allow for effective but gentle exfoliation, with less risk of irritation. Mandelic Acid evens the complexion by reducing melanin production and stimulating the removal of pigmented cells from the stratum corneum.
The patented Lumilight complex Lumilight (2%) : PIGMENT REGULATOR
Inhibits the enzymes that activate the synthesis of melanin, responsible for pigmentation issues.
